Founded in 1999, Saman Ab Sarzamin Consulting Engineers (SAS) started its operations with a group of qualified and experienced experts and professionals by providing engineering services in a number of disciplines mainly in natural resources and irrigation and drainage network. Within the two decades of establishment, the scope of the professional services of the SAS have significantly been extended by developing its organizational capacities both in consulting and contracting fields and obtaining certificate of qualification and licenses from the legal authorities.
Development of SAS capacity and capabilities has been featured in the stages of this period:
- 1999-2007: Since establishment in 1999, SAS has obtained certificate of qualification in consulting services for Geographical Studies and Spatial Planning, Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Husbandry, Irrigation and Drainage Networks. It was supported by developing its capacities in contracting services in the field of Water.
- 2008-2014: Within this period, SAS has received certificate of registration from international organizations including: ISO certificate 14001-2004 (environmental management system), QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Code), OHSAS 18001-2007 (safety management system) and ISO certificate 9001-2008 (quality management system). Upgrading the consulting services in the field of Irrigation and Drainage Network has been achieved in this period.
- 2015-2018: Obtaining ISO certificate (9001-2015), Upgrading qualification in consulting services in Economic Services, River Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Network and membership of International Consultants and Contractors Association of Iran (ICCA) are among major developments of the company in recent years.
To sum up, SAS is honor to complete over 250 projects, having 7 regional offices in Iran with nearly 500 specialists and experts working in the head office and branches.
